An Extract From A Visitor's Guide to South Shropshire

Clunbury is a delightfully sleepy village with some good timber framed houses, situated on the river Clun where centuies ago a settlement grew by the river crossing. Later, with modern roads and bridges, the B4385 by-passed the village, leaving its inhabitants in peace.
